Field Day 2008 Field Day was a great success! With painted faces and vibrant colors, students took part in a variety of activities. Kindergartners took part in an intense shoe toss battle, while the middle school students were able to test their accuracy in throwing to the targets of Mr. Girolamo, Mr. Schwartzman, Dr. Mandell, and Mr. Cunningham. The Tug of War between the 8th grade and Faculty was more of a humiliation with the middle school making a mockery of the Faculty!! Congratulations to all of the students and especially the Blue team for their winning ways. Click on the link to the right to view the slideshow Field Day 2008
8th Grade Israel Trip 2008 God said to Abraham: "Up, walk about the land, through its length and its breadth, for I give it to you." (Genesis 13:17).
And walk we did as well as climb and drive! In the South, there was Masada and the Dead sea along with the Negev and Ben Gurion's hut. Hiking Ein Avdat was wonderful. In Jerusalem, there was the Kotel along with the many other sites in Old Jerusalem. We also visited Yad Vashem and Har Herzl and enjoyed Ben Yehuda Street. In Tel Aviv, we swam and then went to Old Jaffa. In the north, we spent time in Tzfat and Katzrin where we celebrated Yom HaZikaron and Yom Ha'atzmaut. We saw the beauty of the Galil and the Golan. These are but a few of the highlights from our 2008 Israel Graduation Trip. Click on the link to the right to view the slideshow 8th Grade Israel Trip 2008
