Our Goal:
For our students to learn how to learn; to understand how to treat people; to respect themselves and others. Our students grow from curious, wide-eyed toddlers to adolescents who know how to lead with compassion.
Choosing SSDS
We foster intellectual curiosity and challenge all of our students to reach his or her potential. We nurture each child’s natural curiosity, whether in the lab, the gym, on stage or in the classroom. Our dedicated faculty, small class sizes and dynamic dual curriculum equip each child with tools for study and critical inquiry and encourage a commitment to Tikun Olam, building a better world.
An Investment that Lasts a Lifetime
A Solomon Schechter Day School education is a critical investment in your child’s future. The skills acquired at SSDS enable our graduates to excel in their high schools, both independent and public, and later at top colleges. More than just academic success, our graduates shine as responsible and involved members of their school communities, their Jewish community and the world community.
Tuition and fees at SSDS cover only a portion of the real cost of educating each child. In other words, every student at SSDS is subsidized regardless of need.
