RELISH (Ruach L’ichvod Shabbat): The Spirit in Anticipation of Shabbat
Each Friday morning, the Schechter community acknowledges the transition into Shabbat with a celebration that includes music and reflection. Students arrive (dressed in blue) to live music performed by our musician-in-residence. Students, staff, families and friends come together in the Beit Tefilah (chapel), where the musician leads all in Shabbat and holiday songs. Each week a visitor from the community (often a Rabbi, Cantor or other leader) shares a story, additional song or a d’var Torah (Torah teaching).
Family and friends are invited to join us for RELISH — It may be the best half hour of your week!
